multi-linking

[edit]

What's with your recent multi-linking of the same terms over and over in Conservatism? Normally, we link a term only the first time it is mentioned in an article; there are exceptions (e.g. when it's been several paragraphs since the last mention of an obscure term, or in an Infobox and the main body of the article, etc.) but your recent change seems totally overboard. I could just revert it, but I'd rather call this to your attention so you don't keep doing this.

I'm guessing from the empty talk page that you are new to this. I don't mean to bite you, and do feel free to ping me back if you have any questions. -- Jmabel 06:34, Oct 3, 2004 (UTC)

Yes, the revised version is fine. By the way, when you leave a comment on a talk page, if you follow it with four tildes (~~~~) that will automatically turn into your user name & a time stamp when you save. Highly recommended. -- Jmabel 03:56, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC)

Nomination of The Good, The Bad, And The Munchkin for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article The Good, The Bad, And The Munchkin, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Good, The Bad, And The Munchkin until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:04, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lawrence Taylor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page L.T. (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Legion of Super-Heroes publications, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Culling. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
